OBJECTIVES
To foster the mutual interest of members worldwide which supply machinery, equipment, tooling materials, testing and technical services for the fastener and precision formed part industries.
To work in cooperation with existing groups to collect, exchange, and disseminate technical and commercial information relating to the production, distribution, consumption, and use of fasteners and components made from ferrous and non-ferrous material.
To promote and develop meetings, events, expositions, and educational programs worldwide aimed at enabling the industries to conduct themselves with the greatest economy and efficiency and to improve the welfare of those engaged in the industries.
To facilitate the understanding worldwide of standards, specifications, trade terminology and generally promote the serviceability of the fastener and precision formed parts industries.
The Association will provide management and guidance for participation in expositions and international trade fairs and will organize seminars and technical meetings based on market needs determined by its members. Through its own regular media outlets, Association members will also be provided with resources to further their objectives.
